We’re Julia and Ken, a husband-and-wife photography team based in Santa Barbara. After more than a decade of photographing weddings together, we’ve found that working side by side comes pretty naturally. We each bring our own perspective to the day, while sharing a love for beautiful light, good composition, and photographs that feel like they belong to the people in them.

We’re easygoing, observant, and happiest when a wedding day feels like a wedding day, not a photoshoot. We’ll help when you need it, keep things moving when it matters, and be there to notice the moments you may not. Digital, film, Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez, or somewhere a little farther away, we’re always up for a good celebration.

When we’re not photographing weddings, you’ll probably find us catching a Santa Barbara sunset, exploring a new winery in the Santa Ynez Valley, or trying a new restaurant or coffee spot around town. Ken is always up for a classic car show, especially when there’s a Porsche involved, while Julia is usually planning our next European adventure. Germany is where she grew up and where we return often, with summers spent exploring a little farther afield in Italy and France.
